Latin Instructor

 Mr. Bond received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies
from the University of Missouri-Columbia with an emphasis in Classical
Studies. He earned his Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological
Seminary and is currently a doctoral candidate at Whitefield Theological
Seminary.
Currently, Michael is the Office Administrator for Liberty Christian
Church where he also serves as a deacon. He also leads the Jr. High
youth group for St. Louis Teens For Christ.
 Michael's most enjoyable past time is playing with his sons, Logan and
Job. His interests include playing various musical instruments (he
knows how to play five) and playing soccer. In his spare time you'll find
him in his favorite chair reading a good theological book or doing minor
repairs on his car.
Dr. Denis Boyle
Physical Sciences Instructor

Dr. Boyle serves on the Liberty Classical School board and is the
Chairman of the LCS science department. He has a Doctorate in
Chemical Pathology from University of the Witwatersrand in
Johannesburg, South Africa. Denis also has a Master of Science in
Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He has over twenty
year's research experience, mostly in the Life Sciences industry, and
has accumulated approximately fifteen scientific publications or patents.
He has received an international research award and presented his
work both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Boyle lives near rural Marthasville with his wife, Jo Ann, and their
four children. Denis is also the proud owner of Tick, the world's best
hunting dog!

Mrs. Donna Chapin
Math Instructor

Mrs. Chapin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics
from Texas Wesleyan University. After working for the Tandy
Corporation and BMA insurance company, she decided to pursue a
teaching career. She received her secondary teaching certification from
Maryville University and a Master of Education degree from Washington
University.
Donna currently teaches math at a large St. Charles county high school.
She is a sponsor of the National Honor Society and of the "Youth Alive"
group at the school.
The Chapins are members of the First Baptist Church of St. Charles,
where they are very active in the mission programs of the church. Their
passion involves work with the American Indians in Sisseton, South
Dakota and orphaned children of India.
Summers are spent canning and freezing homegrown vegetables,
traveling, quilting, knitting and lots of yard work. Donna and her
husband, Byron, have one daughter, Alexsis, who was homeschooled
through the 8th grade.

Dr. Doll received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Languages
from Concordia College in Portland, Oregon in 1993. His MA and Ph. D.
both in Classics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has
taught Latin, Roman Civilization, Greek and Roman Mythology,
Masterpieces of Greek Literature, Classical Culture and Classical
Capstone.
Doug also has several papers and talks added to his credit, as well as
various awards. He has also been the Editorial Assistant for The
Classical Journal.
New Testament Textual Criticism, Ancient Rhetoric and Roman Imperial
Epic Poetry are of special interest to Doug.
Dr. Doll resides in St. Louis, with his wife and children.
Mr. Justin Donathan
Rhetoric & Literature Instructor

Justin Donathan received his Bachelor's degree in Humane Letters from
the University of Oklahoma with an emphasis in Philosophy and
Classics. He is now pursuing a Master's of Divinity at Covenant
Theological Seminary in St. Louis.
Justin is currently attending Providence Reformed Presbyterian Church
in St. Louis where he serves as an intern, working especially with
children and young adults.
In the past Justin has tutored students in Reading and Math, as well as
taught in a Christian day-school.
Justin enjoys reading, theological studies, and art and intends to pursue
church planting and possibly a doctoral course of study in theology in
the future. He resides in St. Louis, Missouri with two roommates and
several aquarium fish.
Mrs. Karen Graham

Karen is a graduate of Kansas State University . She received a
Bachelor of Science in Mathematics as well as a certificate to teach
secondary mathematics and computer science. In past years she has
taught various levels of mathematics and computer courses in both
public and private school systems. She also worked as a computer
programmer/analyst at McDonnell Douglas.
Currently the Grahams reside in Moscow Mills where they home school
their three children. In her spare time, Karen enjoys music, reading,
and cooking. She is also involved with women's Bible studies and likes
helping with the St. Louis Teens For Christ Bible Quiz Program.
Mr. Steve Sanders
Physics Instructor

Steve received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
from the University of Mississippi. He has also obtained a Certified
Reliability Engineer certification from the American Society of Quality
Engineers. He has had 17 hours of physics (5 classes and 2 labs) at the
university level.
Mr. Sanders has worked the past 22 years in the aerospace industry.
His present primary responsibility is the reliability of cruise missile
navigation systems.
Steve has been married to Sandy for 22 years and is a homeschooling
dad of 11 children ranging in age from 2 to 21. They attend Liberty
Christian Church in O'Fallon, Missouri. His hobbies include archery,
computers, hunting, fishing, cycling, reading, and writing. Steve is also
heavily involved in the St. Louis Teens For Christ Bible Quiz Program.
Mr. Sanders says, "I have had a love of science that began in the sixth
grade. I believe that God has allowed man to begin to understand how
this world operates. To me, physics is one of the pure sciences that
looks at how things work and attempts to understand why they work and
behave the way they do."
Dr. David J. Vaughan

David J. Vaughan is the founder and director of the Liberty Leadership
Institute. He is a writer and leader dedicated to the propagation of the
Christian message by means of the spoken and written word. Currently,
Dr. Vaughan is Pastor of Liberty Christian Church, Director of Liberty
Leadership Institute (a division of Whitefield Theological Seminary) and
President of Liberty Classical School.
In addition to these ongoing activities, David also addresses current and
biblical issues through writing. He is a consulting editor for the St. Louis
MetroVoice and Highland Books, and his articles have appeared in
numerous national publications. As a lecturer and community leader,
David has appeared on nationally syndicated television and radio, and
is a host of the Encounter radio program (KSIV 1320 AM).
Dr. Vaughan is a member of the National Association of Scholars, the
Evangelical Theological Society, and the Evangelical Philosophical
Society. He holds the BS in Education, the MA in Political Science, the
DA in Christian Leadership, and Ph.D. in Christian Thought.
David and his wife Diane have four children; Hannah, Lydia, Ethan and
Adam.
Mr. W. Shane Williams

Mr. Williams has been actively involved in home, private and public
school for twenty years. Presently, he teaches Music Theory for the
Liberty Classical School in addition to Band, Choir and Praise/Worship
classes at Christian High School .
Mr. Williams holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education
from Austin Peay State University , a Master of Music degree in
Percussion Performance from the St. Louis Conservatory of Music and
a Master of Music degree in Conducting from the University of Missouri-
Columbia.
Shane Williams has been affiliated with the Webster University
Symphony as assistant conductor since 2003. In addition, he currently
holds the conducting posts of Pops Conductor with the Alton Symphony,
Music Director/Conductor of the Young Peoples Concert Orchestra and
Music Director/Conductor of the St. Charles County Youth Orchestra.
He has guest conducted in Europe with the Zapadocesky Symphonic
Orchestra of the Czech Republic and the United States with the Illinois
Symphony, the Kirkwood Symphony, the Gateway Chamber Orchestra.
He currently serves on the faculty at Lindenwood University and is
adjunct faculty with Webster University . He is a regular clinician and
guest conductor with regional schools including the St. Louis All-
Suburban and District IMEA Orchestras.
As a professional musician, he has performed with the St. Louis
Symphony Orchestra, Joffrey Ballet, Moody Blues, Burt Bacharach,
Roger Williams, Dionne Warwick and many others.
And for the past ten years he has served on the faculty of the
Masterworks Music Festival in New York and Indiana .
Mr. Williams has previously held the positions of Conductor of the
Dayspring Festival Orchestra, Music Director/Conductor of the Alton
summer Chamber Series, Music Director Conductor of the Sangamon
Valley Youth Symphony, and Resident Conductor of the St/ Louis Brass
Band.
Mr. Williams resides with his wife and sons in Wentzville , Missouri .
Mr. David Wilson

Mr. Wilson graduated with a B.S. in Business Information Systems
Management in 1984. He attended Southwest Missouri State University
(now Missouri State ) where Dave was a member of the Speech and
Debate Team.
Dave has since worked as a software developer and was co-owner of a
computer sales, networking, and software consulting business for 11
years. Dave is currently co-owner of Garoup, Inc, the makers of CTS
Member Connect software sold by Concordia Publishing. Dave is also
a real estate developer in the St. Charles county area.
Dave has been happily married for 20 years and has 6 children. Dave
and his wife are involved with the drama ministry at Liberty Christian
Church. They are also avid amateur videographers.
