This 1960’s semi-detached home is situated in a cul-de-sac on a quiet attractive
estate on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Hurworth Place, near Darlington
in County Durham. They are close to the River Tees and one mile from the Premier
Football club training ground (Middlesbrough FC). This includes a major hotel, spa, &
golf course due for completion later this year.
Darlington is a delightful town, now pedestrianized to make the shopping experience
very pleasant. There are other good amenities in the town.
Nearby Durham has much to offer including the wonderful cathedral.         See area

This good-sized detached house, built only last year, is located in a well designed
‘new build’ area at the edge of Willington, a small town 7 miles west of Durham, 3
miles north of Bishop Auckland and 25 miles from Newcastle.
Durham needs little introduction as a vibrant and fascinating city, steeped in history
and culture, with magnificent architecture.
Willington itself is surrounded by beautiful countryside and lovely villages/small towns
on the edge of the North Pennines.
The garden is enclosed, and mainly laid to lawn. For children there are the following:

There are two lively ‘church plants’ in the area, located in schools, and the family
attend one of these.

This late 1960’s detached house is located on the edge of High Shincliffe; an
attractive village just 10 minutes drive from the historic cathedral city of Durham.
Surrounded by beautiful countryside, this is very well situated for exploring North
Yorkshire, Newcastle & Northumberland. Edinburgh is only 1½ hours on the train.
The rear garden is enclosed with garden furniture on the decking area, and there are
plenty of toys for use both inside and out, for children aged one to six years. They will
be pleased to find the sandpit, toddler swing and playhouse as well as some ride-on
toys. There is a grassed area surrounded by flower beds. There is parking for 3 cars
in the drive.
Croxdale Parish Church, St Barts is small in number, and the style of worship is fairly
traditional. As well as the Sunday morning service there is a Wednesday communion
service. Visitors would be made very welcome.
There are churches of several denominations within 2 miles.
