Creating a Google Site

Go to http://sites.google.com Log in with your Google username and password. Click Create site. You will see a page that will asks you to supply some basic information for your site. Type in a site name. Enter the optional site description. Choose Only the people I specify can view this site if you want to share your site with certain people. 8. Choose a theme and scroll down the page. 9. Enter a special code shown. 10. Click Create Site.
Creating Pages

Click + Create Page located on the top right corner. Select a template: Webpage, Announcement, File Cabinet, or List. Enter a name for your page. Select Put page at Top Level. Click Create Page. Click the Save button on your top right corner to save the site. Repeat the steps to create another page.
Adding Content
1. To add content to your site, click the Edit page button located between +Create Page and More Actions. 2. You will then see your page in edit mode. 3. Click on the textbox and enter the information that you want on your page. 4. Use the following tool bar to edit your page/content.
5. Click the Save button on your top right corner to save the page.
Adding Videos

Click the Edit page button located between + Create Page and More Actions. Under the Insert button, select Video. You have the option to upload a Google Video or a YouTube Video. Copy and Paste the URL of your video. You have the option to include a border around your video and/or the title. Click Save.
7. Use the properties toolbar to edit the position of the video. 8. Click the Save button on your top right corner. 9. Finally, the video will appear on your page.
Adding an Image

Click the Edit page button located between +Create Page and More Actions. Under the Insert button, select Image. You can choose to upload the picture from your computer or Web Address (URL). To upload a picture from your computer, click Choose File. Select the image you want to upload from your computer. Click Choose. Click OK. Use the properties toolbar to edit the position of the picture. Click the Save button on your top right corner to save your page. Finally, the picture will appear on your page.
Organizing your Navigation links in the sidebar

Click the Edit sidebar link listed below the navigation link. Move down to the sidebar area, and click on the edit link under the Navigation area. Turn off Automatically organize my navigation. You will then see a list of your site pages. Click on the page you want to reorganize. And then, use the arrows on the right to rearrange your pages. Turn off the link to Site Map Click OK. Scroll down, find and click the Save Changes button to save what you have done. To see the result, click on the Return to Site link on the top left corner of the page.
Attaching Documents to your Pages

Click on the page you want to attach your document on the navigation menu. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Click Attachment. Click on the Choose File button to locate the file that you want to attach to your page. Click Choose. Your file will be attached. To attach another document, repeat step 4 and step 5.
Sharing your site
1. On your page, click the More Actions button located on your top right corner. 2. Toward to bottom of the menu, select Share This Site. 3. Type in the Google e-mail addresses of the people you want to share your site with or click “Choose from Contacts” link to find the address from your Google contacts. You have the option to invite people to view your site as owners, as collaborators, or as viewers only. Owners and collaborators are able to edit the content of your site. 4. Click Invite these people. 5. You will see the list of people with access to your site on the right.
