2 rooms available in beautiful house for 2010/11 school year – Duane and I are both rising 2L's,
and we recently signed a lease on a great house just north of town. The house is approximately 5
minutes north of Wegmans, and a 10-15 minutes drive to Katz. The property has 5 bedrooms, two
full bathrooms, new wood flooring, new tiling, a completely new kitchen, a spacious kitchen and living
room, a giant yard with a stream running through it, and a large garage. The place was recently
remodeled, and has lots of room for storage. Additionally, the landlords are extremely nice and
helpful.
      We are planning turning one room into a study room, but we are looking for one or two more
roommates. You would need to have your own vehicle. Rent for the whole house is 1250 plus
utilities. With three of us, rent would be approx. 415 per person. The heating is oil, which is cheaper
than gas or electric. Overall it's a great price for a spacious, comfortable house. Let me know if

Roommate wanted – I am a law student looking to get out of my lease in Copper Beach Oak Hill on
the corner of Valley Vista and Circleville (about 2.8 miles from campus). It is approximately
$535/month including everything and there’s a bus pass ('W' Route) literally across the street (we live
right in the back of the complex) that takes about 10-12 minutes to ride to campus pending on which
stop. You would get your own bedroom, own bathroom, and be sharing a kitchen/living room with two
other law students (1 male, 1 female). You would be sharing the top floor with the male law student.
It is generally a quiet area, there are about 8-10 other townhouses full of law students out here. The
move-in date would be negotiable, pending on when I move out. There would be a $455 deposit that

The Pointe Apartments – I am subletting my room in UP for $465 per month for summer. The
apartment is located at Vairo Blvd., right near Walmart and Best Buy and has great amenities. Sublet
is one bedroom in a three-bedroom completely furnished apartment at Pointe apartments! The lease
is for 1 June-6 August 2010 (no rent payment for August is required), but can be extended further.
The lease could be available at the end of May too.

This is a great place to stay in summer and enjoy the outside pool, gym, tanning room, table tennis,
volleyball and basketball courts, computer lab, free printing, video library, 24 hours emergency
maintenance and other amenities that are included into the rent fee! As far the utilities, all the utilities,
except electricity (usually makes no more than $10-15 per person) are included into the lease.

Bedroom has its own bathroom and includes bed, desk/chair, and dresser. Overall apartment is big,
spacious, and in newly excellent condition. The apartment is in a convenient location - near Best Buy,
McDonalds, close to the campus and has a stop right in front of it. Rent also includes a reserved
parking space and a complimentary CATA bus pass to downtown State College and Penn State

Downtown State College Sublet – If anyone is going to be here for the summer and needs a place
to live, or knows of someone that does, my apartment will be available.

It's a 1 bedroom with a living room, kitchen, full bath and a few closets. I don't know square feet but
it's plenty of room for one or two people. It's downtown just off of Beaver and Atherton, so a short
walk from just about anything. The apartment is located in a graduate/professional students-only
building so there's no real noise to speak of from neighbors, and it's tucked in the back corner of the
building away from beaver so there isn't any noise from the street either. Rent is only $640 a month.
That includes water but not electricity, which has only been about $20-30 a month since I moved in in
August. I'm not sure what their policy on pets is, but I can find out. And if you don't already have a
place to store your car, there's a parking garage a block down the street that offers monthly parking
for $80, although that could be different in the summer.
