Crossborder Information
USD is the preferred currency to use when traveling in Africa. In North Africa (North of Sudan and Nigeria) the preferred currency is Euro. Always try and carry small denominations as they usually don’t have
change but keep in mind that money changers and banks prefer $50 or $100 denominations
Credit cards – VISA credit cards are the preferred credit card - Mastercard not usually accepted.

What is permitted to take with when you travel to the entire continent?
Raw meat is not allowed because of the outbreak of the foot and mouth disease
Plants are also not allowed
It is advisable to only bring snacks for consuming along the way as all food commodities are available
Fuel is also available in most African Countries no need to take fuel.
