Accelerated BSN Program
Prerequisites for Application
Complete a baccalaureate level degree (or higher) from a regionally
accredited college or university.
Achieve at least a 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale) cumulative GPA on all college work
Achieve at least a 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale) GPA calculated from grades received
on prerequisite Achieve at least a 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale) cumulative GPA on
all college work attempted.

Complete the Florida State University Application for Undergraduate
Complete the College of Nursing Accelerated Track BSN application.
Submit a current resume.
Complete the following nursing prerequisite courses (or their equivalent)
prior to entering the program. Half of these including three (3) science
course must be completed at the time of application.

Note: Nine prerequisites must be completed at the time of application. The application is
available on our website at nursing.fsu.edu and is due by February 1st each year for Fall
admission. The program runs Fall – Summer for one year.
