    A Command is:
A sentence telling you something to do.

It can end in a period or exclamation.
         Examples:

Keep your dog on a leash.

Quiet!

Keep off the Grass

Go to bed now.
       Command vs.
        Sentences
Tells you to do something.

Is an order.

Can end with period or exclamation.




Shares a thought or idea.

Always ends with a period.
        Examples:
Come to the board and write your own.
        Workbook

Do workbook page 136 and 137.

Let’s go over them together.
   Bumper Sticker


Think of a command sentence.

Now design a bumper sticker with your
command.
Examples:
   Card Commands
Everyone gets four cards.

When you lay down a card, say a
sentence.

You must lay down a card with the same
number or suit.
 Card Commands
Give a command to your neighbor for any
card suit. If they don’t have it, they must
pick up a card.



If you have an Ace, give a command to
your neighbor to miss a turn.



If you have a 7, give a command to your
neighbor to pick up 2 cards.
   Card Commands
First person to get rid of all their cards
