1.   AIM

     To ensure an effective academic activities of M.Med postgraduate students at
     the Department of Radiology


2.   SCOPE

     This process is applicable to academic activities for M.Med postgraduate
     program at the Department of Radiology


3.   REFERENCE

     3.1.    Manual for Candidates and Supervisors (PPSP/ PG/RAD/CP2/IR6)


     3.2.    Guide to the Preparation of the Dissertation (PPSP/PG/RAD/CP2/IR7)


     3.3.    Administrative Guide of Academic Programme for Master of Medicine
             (Radiology) (PPSP/PG/RAD/CP2/IR11)


4.   DEFINITION

     Conjoint Vetting         :    Vetting of exam questions at national level with
                                   the members of the M.Med Radiology
                                   subspecialty board.


     Conjoint Board           :    Committee consists of representatives from all
                                   universities where M.Med post-graduate
                                   program is conducted and representatives from
                                   MOH and Academy of Medicine.


     Central Vetting          :    Vetting in the presence of lecturer from the
                                   department of medical education, program
                                   chairman and at least one senior department
                                   member (exam coordinator).


     Chairman of Conjoint     :    The Head of Department of a university who act
     Board                         as the chairman of the board in turn.


     Lecturer                      Person who involve in teaching activities

     Examiner                  Person who is appointed to assess the
                               candidate in the examination


     Academic Supervisor       Lecturer allocated to student for academic
                               supervision throughout the academic
                               programme


     Academic                  A group of lecturers who are appointed by the
     Administration            Head Of Department responsible for academic
                               administration
