International Research Fellowships at CEIBS
The China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) is seeking to appoint two
International Research Fellows in 2013. CEIBS is a leading China-based international
business school, with MBA, EMBA and Executive Education programmes ranked in the
Top 30 globally by the Financial Times. CEIBS has campuses in Shanghai and Beijing,
and operations in Shenzhen and Accra, Ghana. CEIBS is fully accredited by both EQUIS
The International Research Fellow positions are exclusively for Ph.D. graduates who were
(or will be) awarded their degrees between May 2007 and August 2013. Eligible
candidates may have previously held an assistant professor or postdoctoral position. The
positions are purely for research with no requirements for teaching or school service.
Before applying, a candidate must first establish a research relationship with and/or be
endorsed by a full-time faculty member of CEIBS. The candidate must prepare a research
proposal that aims to publish research papers in top-ranked international journals (e.g.
Financial Times 45 journals). The application deadline is March 31, 2013.
Each International Research Fellow will be appointed for a maximum period of three years.
CEIBS will offer an internationally competitive compensation package, commensurate
with the applicant’s qualifications and experience. An International Research Fellowship is
not renewable beyond the three-year term. In the second or third year, a Fellow may, if
(s)he wishes, apply for a full-time faculty appointment at CEIBS.

three references, one of whom must be a full-time faculty member of CEIBS, and at least
