The 2011 Alma Boys Soccer team added one more accomplishment to their record setting year. While

Spring Sports Set to Begin
Spring sports practices have already begun and we need your help to make this season successful. We
are always in need of extra help so if you are interested in volunteering within the athletic program,
please e-mail Athletic Director Eric Huff at Also, we would like to remind
everyone that dogs and other pets are not allowed in our athletic facilities or on our athletic fields, even
when there are not games or practices going on. It has become an unfortunate ritual for our coaches to
have to clean up animal waste before practices and games. AHS works very hard to maintain our
sports fields. Please respect and show pride in our facilities.

AHS Athletes Participate in Alma College Diversity Day Activities
Sr. Basketball and Soccer player Jamaica Esterly, Jr. Football and Track athlete Vinny Costonzo, and
Athletic Director Eric Huff participated with Alma College athletes in a wheelchair basketball game as
part of the college’s Diversity Day celebration on Saturday, March 10th. The game was played against
an actual wheel chair basketball team. Although the high school and college athletes were clearly out
matched by their opponents, all participants enjoyed themselves and the event was a great success.
