            PSAT scores from last year!

   The Homecoming Football Game is up for the Click 2 Houston Football Frenzy Game of the
    Week! You may vote as many times as you wish through Thursday, Oct. 4th! We need your
    vote! Link is available on the KHS and the Football Website!

   The Art Club will meet after school this THURSDAY, OCTOBER 4th in room 2803. Remember to
    bring a blank tee shirt to make this years art club shirts.

   Kingwood High School will be participating in a national mock election during the month of
    October. Students in all grade levels are encouraged to participate. Voter registration will take
    place in the Commons during all three lunches October 1 through the 12th. Remember if you
    don't register, you can't vote! Let's have KHS lead the nation in student participation in this civic
    event.

   Spanish club meets tomorrow at 7 a.m. in room 2110 with an officers meeting at 6:45 A.M.
    Please bring $25.00 for dues and the fundraiser. All interested students are always welcomed.

   FFA meets tonight in LGI 4212 at 7pm, all FFA members please attend! If you can't make it
    please notify an Officer or Advisor

   Student Council meets today after school in LGI 4212.
       Blood Drive is tomorrow and Thursday. Sign up at lunch. Remember one donation can save up
        to three lives- and you could be the one that makes the difference.

       Mustang Cards are here and all athletes will be selling them for $ 20.00. There are great
        discounts on local restaurants and businesses here in Kingwood. Proceeds go to the All Sports
        Booster Club. Sales will end Oct 5 so get your card now!

       The first weeks of October are busy ones for college reps as they visit high schools around the
        nation. It's smart to tap into what comes to our doorstep. Today we welcome the University of
        Arkansas and Louisiana State University.

       Attention all Best Buddies Members.... Peer Buddies will have a mandatory training on October
        3, 2012 from 6:30-7:15 in LGI 2212. Associate Members do not have to be present at this
        meeting but it will be MANDATORY for Peer Buddies. If you have any questions, please see Mrs.
        Haddox in room 1013.


Come support the Mustang Volleyball teams as they take on Westfield tonight at home. Freshman and
JV start at 4:30 and Varsity starts at 5:30 p.m. Tonight is also our annual tailgate party...so we will be
serving free hotdogs and hamburgers after the varsity match. See you at the game!



The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet this Thursday morning at 8:55 in the Auditorium. FCA is
not just for athletes but is open to ANYONE who is interested in hearing more of what we are all about.
We hope to see you there.
