                All admission will strictly be according to Merit through Counselling. The Score will
determine the position of a candidate in the Merit Panel. The formula of calculation of Score for admission to
the 1st. year Hons. Courses will be as follows:
Score = Language I + Language II + sum of best three Optional /Elective subjects out of Four + Marks
obtained in the subject for which Hons. is sought for.
               Marks secured in ENVS by WBCHSE candidates will not be counted for calculating Score,
however, Marks secured in ENVS by Non – WBCHSE candidates may be counted for calculating score, if
that Mark comes within the best three Electives. If there is just one Language, the Score will be calculated
with the single language and with the best four subjects.
Fees to be paid at the time of Admission (Honours Courses)
(i) B.A. Hons. Course (except Geography)      : Rs. 1170/- (including Tuition fess for July & Aug., 2012)
(ii) Accountancy Honours)                     : Rs. 1190/-(including Tuition fess for July & Aug., 2012)
(iii) For Geography Hons.                     : Rs. 1240/-/-(including Tuition fess for July & Aug., 2012) plus
                                                Rs. 3000/-as one time Lab. Improvement Fee plus Rs. 250/- as Lab.
