Course Structure

AS Level

Core Studies:
Focus on 15 pieces of research from five different approaches in Psychology (three studies per approach).
            Cognitive
            Social
            Individual Differences
            Developmental
            Physiological

This will be assessed In June of first year.

Psychological Investigations:
Involves four major research methods in Psychology:
             Experiments
             Observations
             Self report
             Correlation

This will be assessed in an examination In January of first year.

A2 Level

Options in Applied Psychology:
    Forensic Psychology
    Psychology of Sport and Exercise (to be confirmed)

Approaches and Research Methods in Psychology
This will be assessed in an examination in January of the second year.
