Exercise In this chapter, we have reviewed how the puzzle of French fries might be addressed in terms of risk, ethics, and political economy. Starting from the notion that markets can be harnessed for social and environmental good (as described in Chapter 3), how might we understand this problem differently? You may want to consider how the health and environmental risks associated with French fry production and consumption might be addressed through pricing and marketing, in particular.
