                        Catering Vacancy for a Part-time Chef/Cook

Location: Ripon College Cuddesdon, Oxford OX44 9EX

Type: Permanent (subject to completing probationary period)

Salary: Depending on experience & qualifications (£7.50 to £10.00 per hour) working 31 hours
per week

Description: To work with a small team in our busy catering environment must be a good all
round chef/cook, assisting in covering our daily menu production including breakfasts & lunch
service’s able to produce good quality foods including main meals, desserts, bakery, salads.


   •   Must be able to work in a team environment & communicate well

   •   Producing dishes to high standard

   •   Ensuring food safety and health and hygiene standards are maintained

   •   Experience in a busy catering environment

   •   Qualified to C&G/NVQ Level 1 & 2 or willing to continue training

   •   Have a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate

   •   Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and progress with a “can do, will do
       attitude”

   •   Must be able to work weekends and Bank Holidays

   •   A CRB check will be required and full references

                     Catering Vacancy for a Part-time General Assistant

Location: Ripon College Cuddesdon, Oxford OX44 9EX

Type: Permanent (subject to completing probationary period)

Salary: £7.18p per hour (pay review pending) covering week days evenings and weekends
including some Bank Holidays contact the Catering Manager for details

Description: To work with a small team in our busy catering environment covering general
duties include operation automatic dishwasher, pot washing, floor cleaning, light food
handling.

   •   Must be able to work in a team environment & communicate well

   •   Must be well presented, clean and tidy

   •   Working to high standards of food safety and health and hygiene standards

   •   Experience in a busy catering environment an advantage

   •   Hold a Level 2 Safe Food certificate

   •   Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and progress with a “can do, will do
       attitude”

   •   Must be able to work weekends and Bank Holidays

   •   A CRB check will be required and full references
