We received many positive comments about the appearance of the entrance to our subdivision.
Thank you, Tony Childers, for your hard work in making our entrance so festive for the Holidays.

Congratulations to the Miller Family at 100 Seavington Ct. They were the winners of the Yard of the
Month End of the Year Grand Prize Drawing. We had a lot of lovely lawns this past year. Keep up
the good work, neighbors, and maybe the Yard of the Month Committee will be by to visit you soon.

Help is needed for the following volunteer positions: Secretary to the Board, Yard of the Month
Committee, Landscape Committee, Special Events Committee, and Crime Watch Committee.
Contact us if you would like to serve your community in a positive way.

The HOA is planning to make some improvements to our park this year. We would love to have
your suggestions and positive input. Contact us through Behling or the website to share your ideas.

Our Summerville Crime Watch Committee encourages you to be aware of any suspicious people,
vehicles, and activity in your area and always report such activity to the police @ 875-1650. We are
looking for a few good neighbors of Law Enforcement who would be willing to volunteer a little of
their time to patrol Summerville Place either before they go on duty or afterwards. Please contact
the HOA President at sppresident07@yahoo.com if you can help. Thank you for your support!

Please do not put signs of any kind in the center island at the entrance to the neighborhood. There
are electrical wires and an irrigation system buried there. Doing so could cause damage and possibly
end in tragedy. Signs can be placed in the common areas across from the island and should be
removed promptly after the event. Thank you for your cooperation.

Report a litterbug! Pick up the phone and dial 1-877-7LITTER (1-877-754-8837) or #LB (52) on
your Cingular or Altell phone. Give the location, time, and license number. See

Our Welcome Committee is notified of a new homeowner by our property management company.
Even with their best efforts, sometimes a new resident can be overlooked. Please contact us if you
were new to our subdivision in 2006 and you were overlooked by our Welcome Committee. Our goal
is to give each new resident a personal welcome and to help make you feel at home in our community.

                                 Lawn and Garden Tips
From your Summerville Place Landscape Committee

         Getting ready for spring…
Start by raking leaves or mulch them using your lawnmower. Your neighbors will be
appreciative and your lawn will have a clean, neat appearance. Next, choose a type of mulch
material for the flowerbeds and apply. At proper depths, the mulch will control weeds by not
allowing those bad weed seeds to germinate. And last, but not least, re-define the edges around
your flowerbeds and lawn with a weed-eater. Any of these suggestions will make a positive
difference and we will all enjoy the view! The Yard of the Month sign may even make it to
your yard...
                                        Happy Gardening,
                                             Tony
