Title:                Payment and Refund Policy



GUIDING PRINCIPLE

Football New Brunswick (FNB) is the recognized Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) for
Tackle, Flag and Touch Football in the Province of New Brunswick. As part of its mandate FNB
will offer courses, camps, programs and clinics. For the purpose of this document the term
‘course’ will be deemed to include course, camp, program or clinic.



POLICY STATEMENT

It is recognized that FNB will charge various fees for courses delivered.

For any course for which a fee is charged the following procedure will apply.



PROCEDURE

The following is the generic payment and refund policy. Exceptions (if any) to the stated
policy will be noted when registering for specific courses.

Payment

Payment will be due in full at the stated payment date(s). Participants who have not fully paid
by the stated due date(s) will be deemed to not be registered. Participants requiring payment
plans or seeking support from an external funding agency are required to make arrangements
with the designated person for that event.

Refund

Refunds will be issued to the original payee via the original payment method. Payment made by
a parent via credit card will be refunded only to that parent’s credit card. For payments made by
personal cheque, confirmation that the cheque has cleared must be received before any refund
can take place.

*Note: In all refund cases, the online convenience fee is non-refundable.

Before course begins

If refund application is received seven or more calendar days prior to the start of the course,
participants may receive a refund, less an administrative fee of $25 or 10% of the registration
fee, whichever is greater.

After course begins

For single day courses – no refund

For multi day courses – If 25% or less of scheduled course time is elapsed. A participant may
receive a refund, less an administrative fee of $25 or 10% of the registration fee, whichever is
greater and less any material costs (tee shirts, course material, included meals).

For multi day courses – If more than 25% of scheduled course time elapsed. No refund is
available.

Refund Applications

Application for refunds must be made in writing or via email to the Technical Director of Football
New Brunswick stating the course you are seek the refund for and the reason for the refund
request.

The Technical Director will respond to the refund request and advise the amount of refund
available etc. The Technical Director will refund or advise the appropriate person to refund the
money.

NOTE: No refunds will be provided until outstanding property or gear is returned to FNB.
