Description:
The TLC loading chute loads the TLC conveyor with garment hangers.

Mechanical Design:
The TLC loading chute consists of a plastic element to which a bent and skewed aluminium profile with
two imbedded sliding hoses is mounted. The TLC loading chute is available in right-hand and left-hand
version with 45° and 90° angle. The bending radius of the aluminium profile depends on the application in
the specific TLC loading chute.
The plastic element of the TLC loading chute is identical for both the right-hand and left-hand version. For
a better transfer to the TLC conveyor the front part is bevelled and slightly movable by means of plastic
hinges. Horizontal and vertical mounting is made under 13° and must not be less. The loading chute is
fastened to the TLC profile by means of a metal sheet angle and can be mounted at any desired position at
the conveyor. No modifications are required.
In case the TLC conveyors in question are installed at a height lower than 2500mm, each loading chute is to
be provided with yellow/black safety provisions made of plastic.

Mechanical Function:
The TLC loading chute transfers loaded and empty garment hangers from a transporting element onto the
TLC conveyor. The gap between the plastic element of the TLC loading chute and the sliding rail of the
TLC conveyor must not be higher than half the wire thickness of the conveyed hanger hooks. For example,
when using garment hangers of 4mm, set the gap to 2mm. The gap avoids garment hangers which are fed to
the TLC conveyor to slide under the loading chute. This helps also to prevent crossed hangers. Hangers
already transported in the TLC conveyor can raise the top of the hinged plastic piece and pass on the sliding
rail of the TLC by sliding through underneath the specific loading chute.
