Renowned sponsors support Schüco Open 2012

Bielefeld/Hamburg. Just how important the Schüco Open has become in
the four years since its inception is demonstrated by the distinguished
partners supporting this year’s event. Automobile manufacturer Audi,
Bielefeld-based Bankhaus Lampe and online golf retailer Golf House are
three prominent and well-known companies who will be represented at the
Golf und Land Club Gut Kaden from 28 - 29 July. As Tanja Brinks, Head of
Global Marketing at Schüco states: “As the leading provider of energy-
efficient building technologies, we are both proud and very happy to have
such strong partners. We are delighted that these companies from other
industries share our idea of teeing off together on climate protection and
are committed in their support.”

German automobile manufacturer Audi is the official vehicle partner of the
Schüco Open. The company will provide the fleet of shuttle vehicles with
35 cars and is offering an R8 Spyder as a prize for a hole-in-one. “We are
looking forward to being involved in this high-class tournament as a
premium partner. The Schüco Open enjoys an outstanding reputation in
golf circles,” explains Dr Hans-Peter Kleebinder, Head of Marketing for
Germany at AUDI AG. “This new commitment fits perfectly with our
successful golf program.”

Bankhaus Lampe is one of the most successful of a small number of
independent, privately owned banks in Germany. Established in 1852, the
venerable institution is today wholly owned by the Oetker family. The
business is focused on providing comprehensive support for wealthy
private clients, medium-sized corporate customers and institutional
investors. “We are looking forward to being a premium partner at this year’s
Schüco Open. As a private bank, we pride ourselves on exclusivity and
sustainability, which also make us a first-class partner away from the
greens,” says Professor Stephan Schüller, Spokesman for the General
Partners of Bankhaus Lampe KG.

Golf House is the leading specialist online retailer and mail order
business on the German golf market. The company was established 35
years ago and, as a golf specialist, is currently the market leader for

clubs, apparel and services. During the Schüco Open 2012 at the Golf
und Land Club Gut Kaden, Golf House will have its own sales pavilion
where visitors can receive specialist advice on its products. CEO Frank
Ewers says, “Golf House is very proud to be a partner at the Schüco
Open 2012. We would like to tie in with the tournament’s status as an
event and are excited about a sales area of more than 400 m2.”

thanks to efficient solar solutions. This creates an excess of energy which can be used by
means of intelligent networking. For building functions, as well as for everyday life. The
result is a significant step towards energy self-sufficiency – towards the sustainable
conservation of natural resources. And towards a secure future. With 5,400 employees and
