Guidelines for engine layout and injection system
WP A2.1 development are defined. (DA2.2 by Siemens)
Finalize the engine layout documentation with deliverable DA2.1 (Daimler / AVL)
Engine Layout Expectations from fuels are delivered to SPB0 (DA2.3 by
Daimler / AVL)
New injector generation development in progress. Needle
Injection layout assisted by CFD-Simulation (PT). Interfaces to ECU Parts procurement for first injector prototypes (DA2.4, DA2.6) and MA2.1
System (CONTI) are defined
First MCE was build up and tested by Daimler and delivered
to AVL including also a cylinder head for Transparent engine
WP A2.3 (DA2.8, DA2.9), ECU systems for the MCEs are procured and
delivered by CONTI. Build up of the base engines 2 and 3 at Daimler. Procurement of Gen 2 injectors by
