                o Format: The letter is typed, single spaced, five paragraphs in length
                     and follows the standard format for a business letter (margins and
                     spacing must be correct).



                o Readability: The writer uses clear wording and comprehensive
                     sentences to convey his/her thoughts in a readable manner.




                o Conventions: The writer demonstrates a grasp of the conventions of
                     standard written English (spelling, punctuation, capitalization).



                o Tone: The writer uses the appropriate tone for their audience (positive
                     and/or negative feelings concerning the Senior Project are acceptable, if
                     they are presented in an appropriate manner).
