Arabian Gulf, providing specialist services to the offshore/onshore oil & gas and renewable
energy industry.
Projects Handled: Client- RAK PETROLEUM:
 1. Offshore – Saleh Field Development & Installation of Production Platform Works.
 2: Onshore – New build Rig/ Refurbishment of Rig in sharjah yard facility.
Responsibility & Duties - Offshore Projects:
    Provide professional health, safety and environmental support to all aspects of the
      offshore operation and to support the implementation of the HSE policies and the
      company’s fulfilment of its duty of care responsibilities promoting a pro-active HSEQ
      culture and actively monitoring HSE aspects of all processes and documentation.
      Ensure all operational activities on the vessel / platform / barge are carried out in a
       safe manner and in adherence to the Company's Safety Policies, RAK Petroleum HSE
       Standards, Statutory Regulations and Guidelines.
      Ensure that all personnel arriving onboard (platform)/vessel are aware about relevant
       emergency actions.
      Monitor/Advise Weekly emergency drills which include fire drill, H2S drill, Man
       overboard, abandon drill and maintain the T-card system.
      Facilitating and support Job Safety Analysis, Risk Assessments & provide advise on
       measures to reduce risk.
      Participating in actual “Job Watch” as and where necessary; such as critical lifting,
       main hook up modules, hot tapping’s, shut down jobs to ensure all safety aspects are
       adhered to.
      Participate in the weekly/monthly client project meetings as the HSE Representative.
      Conduct internal safety meetings within project team and evaluate the safety aspects
       of proposed operational activities and discuss the concerns raised.
Responsibility & Duties - Onshore Rig Works:
      Responsibilities involve implementation of safety and risk reduction programs for the
       protection of employees, public and facilities., and contribution to the team effort in
       achieving the safety program goals of zero accidents, reduction levels of risk as low as
       reasonably practicable, zero lost time incidents with all operations in compliance with
       Regulations and Company HSEMS, Policies and guidelines.
      Liaise with the Construction Supervisors to monitor the performance of the Safety
       Officers and reports changes to be made as a result of stellar or poor performance.
      Takes an active role in the development and implementation of the permit to work
       system and provides independent oversight by reviewing selected permits issued by
       Operations personnel. Ensure all personnel aware of the system, ensure personnel
       know how system operates, review that all personnel are following system.
      Ensuring the sub-contractors are maintaining compliance with HSE plans, procedures
       and standards. Attend all contractor weekly and monthly safety meetings and advise
       on improvements. Steward suggested improvements.
      Lead in the investigation of any accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrences or near
       misses involving departments, personnel or subcontractors;

Project: Ethylene Cracker project, in Ras laffan Industrial City, Qatar
Client: Ras Laffan Olefin Company (RLOC). Project Value: $1.10 Billion.
Project Description:
The plant construction activities consist of Pipe line work From the Plant To Port (14
kilometer) and Installation Of Utilities , Excavation, Steel Structure Erection, 33Kva Cable
Lay down from Main Substation to plant, Waste Water treatment ,Fire water Line
Installation, Ground Flare Installation.
Responsibility & Duties:
    Ensure that all outside activities are under RLIC CPW(Consolidated permit to
     work) and Qatar gas PTW premises.
    Plan, Organize, Coordinate, Supervise & Control in Consonance With the
     Environmental Concerns.
    Supervise implementation in all aspects of safety , occupational health , loss
     prevention, fire protection , pertaining to civil/mechanical works and improving
     safety and environmental management systems.
    Coordinate with concurring parties about their Utilities Protection and
     Prevention from any damage or incidents..
    Supervision      and leadership ,behavior based ,heat stress ,working at height
     defensive driving, confined space safety, lifting and rigging safety, excavation
     safety, Gas Testing , hydro testing , LOTO and Simops Systems, Radiography.
    Keeping the site management aware of the progress of the HSE program and
     making Recommendation for site related HSE improvement.
    Conducting and participating in Job safety meetings.
    Prepare the Accident/Incident report.
June 2006 - January2008:
Safety Officer with LARSEN & TOUBRO Ltd, for their ‘BCP-B2 Booster Compressor
Platform (ONGC)’ project at L&T” fabrication facility at Hazira.the work involves Fabrication
of Deck, Modules & Bridge connecting platforms.
Responsibilities & Duties:
     Monitoring of all construction work by sub-contractors and vendor representatives to
       ensure the appropriate level of safety is achieved and maintained.
     Assistance to contractors to ensure they work within limitations set by PTW (Permit to
       Work) system. Ensuring consistent implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) systems
       across the site
     Enhancing production unit awareness with reference to the contents and conditions of
       statutory permits

     Assisting job hazard analyses and harmonizing these across production units.
