                                    I was introduced and started a career in yachting by my brother
                                    Gawie Henning (Captain of 70ft. Azimut Gandy Dancer), and
                                    employed by him as a deckhand for 6 months to earn foreign
                                    currency to pay back my 5-year study loan after completing a B.
                                    Tech Diploma in Architecture and Technology. As a PADI Dive
                                    instructor I worked aboard the world’s largest live aboard diving
                                    and sailing trimarine, “Cuan Law”, at 105 ft in before joining
                                    Voyage Charters which is a Virgin Island based company where
                                    I managed a luxury 50ft sailing catamaran, cooking fine meals
                                    for 8 guests and 2 crew as well as leading all the dives around
                                    the islands. I am 29 and am culinary trained in Classical French
cuisine and received a Basic diploma from the Le cordon Bleu Culinary Institute of Paris. As a
qualified Padi dive instructor and specialty instructor I have dived the South African coast and
Caribbean coast and has extensive knowledge of diving in the Caribbean. Have worked part time
in fine dining establishments through out Southern Africa. Cooked for 20 guests and 7 crew
aboard the biggest live aboard in the Caribbean, chefed for a family on a private yacht and
currently been cooking for 12 crew and 6 guests. In 2010 I went back to University and obtained
my Degree in Architecture from the Cape Peninsula University of technology in South Africa. I am
extremely driven and self motivated, with a work hard and get the job done ethic.
