My career objectives are to continue working within the Mortgage Industry as a Mortgage Advisor
      I have a thorough working knowledge of the mortgage market specialising in sub-prime
       mortgages.
      I am familiar with internet resources and usage, other computer skills (e.g. Word Processing,

      A MORTGAGE ADVISER with over 4 years experience within the mortgage sector. Currently
       gives mortgage and protection advice to clients, dealing mainly with the sub prime and re-
       mortgage markets.
      Previously gave advice to clients on various finance products including life assurance,
       savings, pensions and investments. As a sales manager also managed a small team of
       collectors.
      Is targeted to sign up at least 3 mortgages per week, this target is always met with an
       average of 15 mortgage sign ups per month. Is consistently in the top quarter for both
       mortgage and insurance sales.
      Has obtained the full Financial Planning Certificate 1,2,3 and MAQ.

Mar 03 – Sept 07 - MORTGAGE ADVISER, National Guarantee, Birmingham
(Home based in Nottingham)

      Currently gives mortgage and protection advice to clients, dealing mainly with the sub prime
       and re-mortgage markets. Initially used a panel of specialist lenders to source the best
       mortgage but more recently has used one specific lender. All leads are generated through
       company marketing via the internet and through lead generation companies.
      Prior to the change of the Sales Process in April 2006, I was responsible for running the pilot
       scheme and recommending some major changes to enhance the process. The process was
       subsequently rolled out to the sales force three months later.
      Is targeted to sign up at least 3 mortgages per week, this target is always met with an
       average of 15 mortgage sign ups per month. Is consistently in the top quarter for both
       mortgage and insurance sales. Has a 65% sign up for buildings and contents insurance.
      Works on a 2 part appointment process, the initial part is carried out over the telephone to do
       the fact find and the 2nd part is carried out face to face in the client’s home to make the
       recommendation and complete the sale. Carries out all of his own administration for the
       mortgage process.
      Involved in the re-design of the sales compliance form to ensure that the insurance sales
       process was followed to comply with ICOB regulations.
