College of Engineering Undergraduate Scholarships
The College of Engineering (COE) has various scholarship funds which are available to qualified
current undergraduate students. The funds available varies each year, individual awards range from
$350–$2,000. Current scholarships available are listed below.
Eligibility: Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled in the College of
Engineering at UCSB and in good academic standing. Computer Science majors
in the Colleges of Letters & Science or Creative Studies who are in good
academic standing ARE eligible for scholarships designated for Computer
Scholarships: Each scholarship has specific requirements, and applicants will be considered for all
scholarships for which they are eligible.

Dr. Robert and Sue Talley Scholarship all COE majors
Yardi Systems Scholarship junior or senior Computer Science majors
Criteria for awards include: major, grade point average, academic achievements,
research projects, and in some cases, extracurricular activities. Achievements and
activities at UCSB will be considered when reviewing applications.

Paper copies can also be picked-up from the Office of Undergraduate Studies,
Harold Frank Hall room 1006. A copy of your unofficial transcript is required.
Deadline: Completed scholarship applications (including an unofficial copy of your transcript)
must be received by 4:00 PM, November 26, 2012 (no exceptions). Please submit
your application to the address below. You may mail it to us or deliver it in person.

Notification: Winners of College of Engineering scholarships will be notified during January 2013
via U.S. mail at the address provided on the application form. Awards will be made
via the BARC system and will be posted on student accounts within two weeks of

I. Unofficial Transcript – Provide an unofficial UCSB transcript and attach it to this application form.
To print an unofficial transcript, log into GOLD (https://my.ucsb.edu/gold/login.aspx). Go to the Grades
screen and select "All Quarters" from the drop-down quarter selection list at the top. Then select "Print w/
