Beaumont Community Primary School
“Our Nursery opened on 4th September 2003 at the start of the Autumn
Term. We have 26 places available admitting children at the start of the term
in which their fourth birthday falls. The places are initially allocated to
children living in the catchment area of Beaumont Primary School. Any spare
places after this, are given to children living outside the area, giving priority
to those who may have special educational needs. If you are new to the area,
and the Nursery is full, we can only offer to put your child on a waiting list.
Applications for the Nursery can be made at any time, although places are
only allocated the term before the child is due to start. Notification of a
place will be made by letter with further details of school uniform, times, etc.
PLEASE NOTE – A PLACE IN THE NURSERY DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOUR
CHILD A PLACE IN THE RECEPTION CLASS. A SEPARATE APPLICATION
MUST BE MADE AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME
The Nursery is an integral part of the primary School with the rooms and
facilities linked into our Key Stage One Class Rooms. We welcome you and
your child to our School and look forward to sharing many happy times with

All items of clothing must be clearly labelled with your child’s name. It is
particularly important to name jumpers and PE Kit.
For the safety of your child and others we ask that children do not wear

Some of the children’s curriculum will be outside; he/she will need sensible
