California When: Saturday, October 21st Where: 500 Cascade Place, Taft CA Carter’s life seems pretty normal for a four-year-old. He has no idea that something is seriously wrong. The dark cloud looming on Carter’s horizon is NF – Neurofibromatosis – a genetic disorder affecting one in every 3,000 births. More prevalent than Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy, and Huntington’s disease combined, this disease equally affects both sexes and all ethnic groups. The one thing with NF is you don’t always see what is going on in the inside. Carter had surgery when he was 9 months old and still sees several doctors a year and has 6 hours of therapy a week. All money raised during this event with help NFC to help families with support, education and research. If you are unable to stay please consider placing a take out order and support NFC.
