Tabard Announces Auditions for Comedy, See How They Run
SAN JOSE, Calif. (August, 1, 2010) - The Tabard Theatre Company holds
auditions Sunday, August 29, for the fourth production in its 10th season, SEE
HOW THEY RUN, which will be performed at Theatre on San Pedro Square,
downtown San Jose, January 28 – February 20, 2011.
Written by Phillip King, SEE HOW THEY RUN became an immediate hit in
London when it premiered in the 1980’s. Set in England around 1944, the
comedy is a laugh-out-loud audience pleaser, filled with mistaken identities and
Wonderful roles are available for actors who enjoy working collaboratively to
bring to life a play that requires split-second comic timing.
Actors interested in auditioning are invited to e-mail email@example.com to
set an audition appointment for Sunday, August 29, between 5 p.m. and 7.p.m.
Auditions will include cold readings from the script. Information about the specific

The other productions scheduled for Tabard’s 2010-2011 five-show season
include three musicals and one play: Stompin’ at the Savoy (October-November),
an original Big Band Floor show in collaboration with San Jose Jazz; Driving Miss
Daisy (November), the Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Alfred Uhry; The Gifts of
the Magi (December), a musical blending of two short stories by O. Henry; and
Follies Concert Version (March), the Tony Award-winning musical by Broadway
legend Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman.
All performances will be at Theatre on San Pedro Square.
