                                             FEBRUARY 2008

DUES: Your 2008 Membership is now due. You can mail your dues in to our P. O. Box 1102, drop them
off by the Sheriff’s Department or give them to any Board member. We appreciate your support of the
Sheriff’s Posse and thank you for helping us get off to a great start in 2007.

2008 ACTIVITIES: We look forward to the New Year and are working on the following activities:

         Search and Rescue training exercise---members will be receiving information to sign up for this
event in the near future. Date scheduled is March 15, 2008. This event will be all day on Saturday, with
training and search and rescue scenario. The first part of the day will be training and after lunch will be
practical exercises of search and rescue. Everyone is invited including riders, non-riders, potential
members and guests. The location and recommended items to bring will be emailed out later in
February. If interested please RSVP Bob Adkison or email at robert.adkison@us.army.mil or call 254-
368-2410. If you have any questions please feel free to contact him.

         Trail Ride and Wiener Roast: A trail ride will be scheduled for April with a wiener roast
afterward. All members will be invited to attend and bring anyone interested in joining the Posse. A
flyer will be sent out in March with details.

        Drill Team: We still need members who want to be in the drill team. Practices will be starting
up soon-weather permitting. Anyone interested or have questions can contact Gerald Costigan at 865-
7642, or email: jcostigan@htcomp.net or any board member.
