You are invited to submit a presentation for the 15th Annual Oregon Diversity Institute
Conference. Do you have an exemplary program that is addressing historic and contemporary
issues of access, social justice, human rights, and equity through the promotion of respectful,
open and honest interactions among people and communities of diverse abilities and
backgrounds?

This year’s conference theme is to bring about individual self awareness and the opportunities
to UNLEARN the biases, stereotypes, prejudices, hate, and –isms that one may unconsciously
carry… This conference draws youth, community members, and staff from community college
and university campuses to come together to discuss common issues, success and challenges.

Before you submit your proposal, please read the following conditions:
 Speaker/presenter expenses are not covered by the conference: i.e. travel or lodging.
Presenters who attend the conference must also complete the Registration Form, but do
not need to pay registration fee. In the case of multiple presenters who plan to attend the
conference, please contact Michelle with the Community Education Office at 541-440-4600.
 Speakers/presenters should provide sufficient copies (40 each) of any handouts for the
    audience.
 Some technology is available. Please indicate what you need on the proposal, and we will
communicate with you about available equipment.

Guidelines for Submission
Please complete the Conference Presentation Proposal form. The conference planning team
will try to accommodate all presentations according to the presenters’ stated preferences, but
may reassign presentations according to conference program needs. Co-presentations by
