SUBJECT:       Disaster Assistance



Please be advised that our office has been informed by FEMA that there is no
federal assistance available for food loss as a result of power outages. However,
citizens can contact Red Cross and other agencies for possible assistance.

Mercer County residents who have concerns or questions
regarding tree service contractor estimates should call the
Mercer County Division of Consumer Affairs at 609-989-6671
starting Wednesday Nov 6 830am to 430pm.

FYI - Residents can go to disasterassistance.gov OR call 1-
800-621-3362 OR wait for a disaster recovery center to open
later in Mercer County.


FEMA has set-up an External Affairs office in Trenton. This office is responsible
for the entire state of N.J. We are still awaiting an announcement of local
Disaster Recovery Center. We encourage those who have been impacted by
Hurricane     sandy     to   contact    FEMA          1-800-621-3362           or
www.DisasterAssistance.gov.
