 16. REMARKS:

  1. Contractor shall provide briefing charts (level – FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY (FOUO)) to the
 Government at Aberdeen Test Center on the design aspects of the Contractor’s rolling chassis and
 crew compartment. Briefing charts shall include:
   - System overview of the crew compartment
   - Base Cab and B Kit armor and survivability design features consisting of tems not readily visible
 on the outside of the vehicle (FOUO Level – only)
   - Explanation on the operational features of the crew compartment consisting of latches;
 emergency egress features; seat operation and adjustment; gunner’s station operation
   - Explanation of any potentially hazardous conditions or materials on the rolling chassis and crew
 compartment
   - Provide recommendations on gauge and instrumentation placement on seats and floor adjacent to
 the seats to assist in data collection efforts
   - Weight distribution and center of gravity (CG) location at Gross Vehicle Weight. Describe what
 weights are still required to be applied, and in what areas (such as remaining payload).
   - Material Safety Data Sheets required for any of the materials present on the rolling chassis and
 crew compartment
   - Description of vehicle operational height at GVW (height of underbody above ground).
   - Contractor shall be prepared to answer questions resulting from the Vehicle Readiness Board.

a. Vehicle Geometry in either IGES or STEP format
              i. Point of Contact (POC) for clarifications on CAD data
              ii. Parts split into various subassemblies for vehicle structure, powertrain, seats, engine, HVAC, suspension, and
              electrical.
              iii. BOM shall include material names and grades
              iv. Part attachment info – How parts are attached
b. Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) Mesh data for all the vehicle parts
              i. Shell elements with associated thicknesses
              ii. Solid elements
              iii. High strain-rate material properties either already encoded in CAE format (LS-DYNA) or in Excel; Initial Modulus,
              stress-strain curves at different strain rates, Poisson’s ratio, strain at failure, and density.
              iv. Bolt and weld failure properties so that they can be included in the simulation
c. Vehicle Inertial properties – Overall vehicle weight, Vehicle Center of Gravity (C.G), Inertia Properties, Front and Rear Weight

              i. Local characterization of the energy absorption (EA) behavior as a function of stroke, depicted as a force-

 16. REMARKS:

       1.    Provide a non-binding production unit cost of the proposed MECV-S system as defined in
             A.2.6 & C.1.1 of the solicitation. For estimation purposes, the contractor shall use the
             Government estimated delivery schedule provided at Attachment 004.
       2.    Provide a Bill of Material (BOM) showing "part level" detail including all of the following:

16 REMARKS

1. The Contractor shall provide security training certificates of each contract employee within 7
calendar days of completion of each of the training requirements stated below. Training shall be
completed within 30 calendar days of contract award and new employees within 30 calendar days of
reporting for duty.

iWatch Training

2. The Contractor shall provide a point of contact for their OPSEC Coordinator within 7 days of
contract award. The Contractor shall also provide security training certificate for the OPSEC
Coordinator demonstrating the individual is Level II OPSEC certified within 7 calendar days of
completion of training. Training for this individual shall be completed within 30 calendar days of
contract award.
