							North Fort Myers Surface Water Master Plan Update: February, 2008

During initial field investigations, Boyle Engineering had determined that a significant
amount of the available information on the drainage conveyances in this area was
obsolete or insufficient. Due to rapid growth and development, the drainage structure
inventory, boundary, and topography information was no longer accurate. All of this
information is put into the model that is the foundation for the master plan.

On October 9th, the Board of County Commissioners approved additional funding to
conduct the survey work needed to proceed with this study. The South Florida Water
District also contributed funding to this effort.

Boyle Engineering completed the survey work in January, 2008. As each conveyance
was surveyed, the information has been input into the model in preparation for running
that model.
