Introduction to the Miss Showbiz India USA Pageant
Pearl Entertainment Inc. has been a leader in South Asian Entertainment for over a
decade. With established roots in the community, we continue to successfully present
South Asian culture through our weekly show, Showbiz India TV and our annual Miss
Showbiz India USA Pageant to the mainstream.
One of the preeminent events in the South Asian community, the 2010 Ms. Showbiz
India Beauty Pageant was conceived to enable young women to showcase their talents
and provide a forum to grow personally, socially and culturally.
The pageant has been broadcast all over the world on networks including Showbiz India
Sahara One, Zee TV and STAR TV. Print, radio and online media outlets, both
mainstream and ethnic, have extensively covered our pageant.
Our special honorees, panel of judges, master of ceremonies and guests will highlight the
night with sophistication and glamour. After the pageant, the winner will receive further
community exposure and be given the opportunity to network and display her abilities in
active social, political and charitable groups. Among the many prizes, the winner will
also join showbiz India’s team as an on-air hostess for the one-year duration of her reign.
Many of our contestants have gone on to successfully participate in other pageants such
as Miss India USA, Miss South Asia and have booked modeling, hosting and acting jobs.
The pageant was created to give girls the self-confidence to go on to bigger platforms and
achieve their potential. And more importantly, they formed new bonds and relationships
that have lasted years.
Our event has attracted celebrities from all over the world including Miss Universe,
Zeenat Aman, Sridevi, Tanuja Mukherjee, Sonali Bendre, Mario Van Peebles, Jaya
Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Kabir Bedi, Celina Jaitley, Amisha Patel, Pooja Batra,
Miss World Diana Hayden, Randall Wallace (writer of Braveheart), Kangana Ranaut,
Vikram Bhatt (director of Ghulam, Elaan 1920), Aasif Mandvi and many others.
Our distinguished panel of judges will include celebrities and other affluent professionals.
We pride ourselves in assembling a variety of individuals who have appropriate merit in
performing the multifarious task of judging.
The pageant has been a vital part of the South Asian community for fifteen years with
hundreds of contestants who have had the great experience of working with a
professional staff, grown in their confidence and demeanor and have moved on to
national competitions and other entertainment jobs.
