Scholarships Awards - 2006 Portland’s Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) announced the award of $1,500 scholarships to the following students for the fall of 2006: Michael Arnold Oregon State University Accounting Tammy Bass University of Phoenix Accounting Megan Hunt University of Phoenix Accounting Brittany Shimer Oregon State University Business Administration CFMA was formed to serve as “The Source and Resource for the Construction Financial Professional.” http://www.cfma.org/ . Representing all types of contractors, including generals and subcontractors as well as developers, construction managers, architects, engineers, principals and material and equipment suppliers, CFMA's membership is also open to all those serving the construction industry, such as lawyers, public accountants, bankers, sureties, insurance agents and carriers and other service providers. The Portland Chapter of CFMA was able to award these scholarships due to the generous support of the sponsors for our 2005 Golf Event which raised nearly $6,000 for these scholarships.
