Craig Ey is a 22-year media industry veteran. He was named editor of the
Philadelphia Business Journal in August 2010. Previously, he was editor of the
Birmingham (Alabama) Business Journal for four years and managing editor,
associate editor and reporter for the Baltimore Business Journal for 11 years.
Before becoming a business journalist, Craig covered government and politics for
daily newspapers in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Craig has won numerous reporting and editing awards from the Associated
Press, the Society of Professional Journalists, the Maryland-Delaware-D.C.
Press Association, the Alabama Press Association and American City Business
Journals. He is a 1990 graduate of Loyola University Maryland.

Craig lives in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia with his wife, Dawn,
and their two young children.
