Posters
In order to kick start the dialogue, we would like you to prepare in advance a poster showing how
you are using team projects in your teaching. These will be displayed at the beginning of the
workshop, so that we can begin to share our current practice, before we introduce the guest
speakers.
In keeping with the themes of the workshop, the poster may concentrate on just one or two of
the following areas, although posters dealing with all of them will be fine. We want you to tell us
about the difficulties as well as the successes:
 Organising: team size and composition, supporting lectures and tutorials, sourcing projects.
 Managing: tools for teams to use for project management, ways tutors can monitor
        progress.
 Assessment: issues of individual participation, how to assess skills developed, assess
        product or process.
 Differences from the work place: preparing students for global team working.

Produce your poster with any digital tool, so that it can be saved and emailed to us in pdf format.
We will print out the posters on A1, ready to display.
Please send your poster as a pdf file by Wednesday 17th October, to m.p.pieniazek@salford.ac.uk
