    PLEASE REMIND YOUR PARENTS OF ANY AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES YOU WILL BE STAYING FOR.

 NEW Team Spectrum is hosting a book drive for the Somerset County Community Development Homeless
  Shelters. This event was inspired by Matt Skibniewski, who along with his Avid class put the plan into action
  with the support of his team. Spectrum is asking for donations of all types of gently used children's books (pre-k
  to 8). The book drive will run from now until June 7th. Donations can be given to homeroom teacher or can be
  delivered directly to Mrs. Posner in room 255, 8th grade wing. Please send a representative from your
  homeroom to room 255, if you would like a lovely, decorated storage box for the collection process.

 Library: Students are reminded that they must return any overdue books immediately. Please save Mrs.
  Shapiro and Mrs. Liebross a trip to your classroom. Books due in March and April are exempt from fines.

 LAST CHANCE VOLLEYBALL MADNESS: The Volleyball Madness Ticket sales until TODAY, Thursday May 3rd!
  Your time is limited to make your team. Grab a permission slip in the cafeteria and bring in your $5 and cans
  during lunch. Don’t miss out on what will be an AWESOME afternoon of fun and Volleyball Madness!!!!

 Directors’ Chair will be Today, Thursday, May 3rd in the Lecture Hall.

 7th & 8th grade student athletes that did not sign up at the Trenton Thunder meeting with Ms. Whinna and
  give her their t-shirt size for the Trenton Thunder Trip, must see her to add their name to the list with their t-
  shirt size. Please see her during your lunch or PE period no later than Friday, May 4th.
       REMINDER TO ALL 7th & 8th GRADE STUDENT ATHLETES: Payment & permission slips for the Trenton
           Thunder game following the Athletics Awards Breakfast on Monday, June 4th are due to Ms. Whinna
           no later than Monday, May 14th. We cannot accept any payments or permission slips after May 14th.

 PEP RALLY: 3rd and final pep rally of this year is on Friday, May 4th. Gear up in purple and gold for the event.
  During 7th period classes will be called down to the gym. Please wait for the announcements.

 Jazz Lab rehearsal after school on Tuesday, May 8th.

 Color Guard practice for the 2012 fall season will be Tuesday, May 8th at 6:00 P.M. It will begin with a brief
  meeting for parents and interested students in the HS Band Room which is through door number 8.

 Eighth-grade percussion ensemble will rehearse after school Tuesday, May 10.

 Model U.N. Club will NOT be meeting this Thursday May 3rd. Our next meeting will be Thurs, May 10th.

 The Spring Band Concert will be held on Tuesday, May 15. All performers must be in the band or chorus room
  by 6:30 PM. The concert begins at 7 PM.

 Reading Dragon: The Reading Dragon is now twenty-two feet long. Students keep adding the reading scales.
