CORPORATE FACT SHEET
Overview: TruckWeight Inc. is a technology company focused on leading-
edge solutions that improve the productivity, profitability, and
regulatory compliance of commercial trucking operations. Its
wireless onboard scales for trucks, tractors, and trailers give
customers the ability to quickly and cost-effectively monitor
payload in real time.
Smart Scale, the flagship product, is designed for simplicity and
affordability. Available for both air-ride and mechanical
suspensions, it helps customers maximize legal payload; control
loading and adjustment times; limit exposure to overweight
violations; reduce chronic equipment repairs associated with
overloading; and create a more reliable, safe, and streamlined
approach to vehicle loading and compliance.

Customers: TruckWeight's wireless onboard scale appeals to commercial
truck operators who want an accurate, affordable onboard scale
that's simple to use; provides a reading from the cab, the loader,
or within 500 feet of the vehicle; and eliminates the complicated
installation and maintenance concerns surrounding wires, cables,
and electrical connections.
Smart Scale's ultra low voltage makes it safe to use with any type
of freight. Early adopters include haulers of forest products,
refuse, steel, agriculture, asphalt and aggregates, containerized
freight, and liquid and dry bulk products.

Core Product: TruckWeight introduced Smart Scale for air suspensions in 2005.
In 2008, the company applied its wireless technology to
suspensions with mechanical springs.
Smart Scale uses sensors to measure subtle changes in a
vehicle's suspension and relays this data to a handheld receiver
using a low-powered radio transmitter. A small computer in the
receiver interprets the data and provides a weight that's accurate
to within 0.3% for air suspensions and 1% for spring suspensions.
The wireless receiver has a range of 500 feet, allowing readings
from the cab, a loader, or a safe distance from the vehicle.
Smart Scale is simple enough for most people to install without
special skills or tools in about 30 minutes for a typical tractor-trailer
unit. Its waterproof, weatherproof, shock-resistant, and
non-corrosive housing requires no regular maintenance, and the
Smart Scale is accurate in temperature extremes ranging from
-40 C to 70 C (-40 F to 158 F). The sensors use AA batteries.
