III. OAA Committee Work Matrix
Adele and Judy shared plans for an OAA Matrix to outline all current work being
conducted by each committee.
The group filled in the matrix with the following information for our committee:

2. Project: Preparation for September HLC visit
Status/Date: Evaluating assessment website – 9/18
3. Project: Taskforce for curriculum and assessment software purchase
Status/Date: Taskforce being formed
4. Project: Establishment of Gen Ed Outcomes Committee
Status/Date: Looking for interested faculty to sit on committee
5. Project: Establishment of a modified program outcomes validation process
for 2012 reports
Status/Date: proposal going to C&T Assessment Committee
6. Project: Assessment Fellows search

IV. Evaluation of Assessment Website
The group discussed preliminary thoughts about the website:
o Non-assessment-related material on main page should be eliminated (e.g.,
“Points of Pride,” “Cougar Paw Prints”).
o Gen- Ed Goals section should be more prominent and should be labled
differently (e.g., “Learning Goals”), since the goals included there are larger than
just gen-ed goals.
o Need more obvious link to data. Reports seem to be hidden currently.
o Tabs across the top should be more prominent and should be re-named and re-
organized according to audience (e.g., “Faculty,” “Student,” “Accrediting
Bodies”) so that various constituents can more easily find what they need.
