Thepurpose of the JAPC is to share resources, creates synergy in audits and limits
audits to suppliers.

suppliers entry on members ASL.

Reviews Information System (SAARIS)

Problems and suggested improvements to the ICOP Scheme:

There is still a “perception by some” in the JAPC that 3rd Party
Certification is not as rigorous as 2nd Party Audits.

Propose/encourage Registrars to participate in JAPC audits of
       their clients.

Propose JAPC develop Registrar metrics, set goals and share
       data with the RMC.

Participate in the supplemental oversight process.

Track changes to all JAPC suppliers in OASIS for changes in
       risk profile.
                                                  RMC
                                                  Meeting
Positive outcomes form including the registrars in JAPC audits is:

Demonstrate to the suppliers that the JAPC members supports a
   rigorous 3rd party registration scheme.

Demonstrate to the registrars that the JAPC values there rigorous
support of the 3rd party scheme.

Providesboth the supplier and the registrars insight into what the
JAPC considers to be important in the suppliers QMS.

Provides an improved supply chain by ensuring more competent
   suppliers.
