Managing caseload of approximately 800 cases, which includes negotiating with
defendants for settlements and repayment offers, corresponding with lawyers and
third parties, all within SRA guidelines.
Working under CPR rules throughout the entire litigation process. Issuing claims
against individuals including company directors under personal guarantees.
Examining contracts and agreements to ensure we are able to issue proceedings in
accordance with CCA regulations. I review accounts to pre-empt possible defences
and counterclaims particularly with CCA disputes, and make recommendations.

2 month internship in a Legal 500 Corporate Law Firm in Lahore, Pakistan. Specialist areas

Working closely with the Associates, I assisted in the drafting of a precedent
employee contract for an International company in Pakistan.
Undertook both paper based and computer based research to help the Associates
and corresponded with clients.
Interests and activities
I have worked for my family catering equipment business on an ad hoc basis since
the age of 16. I have been exposed to business negotiations, contract management
and customer service and have developed these skills to a high level, working with
other local businesses. I am currently working on building a website for the company
to ensure maximum exposure to the industry and expand the business.
I represented my father at an employment tribunal where his employee sued him for
unfair dismissal. I conducted the pre tribunal research and undertook advocacy.
I applied to be Lord Alan Sugar’s Apprentice, and got through to the final stages of
selection. I passed the interview stages and was in the final 72 of which 36 were
I was part of the Free representation Unit at university where under supervision I
gave free legal advice to members of the general public. During an employment
tribunal case I was able to negotiate a settlement after attending a Case
I was part of College of Law’s legal advice centre, which involved giving free legal
advice to the general public.
