This course is designed to prepare students for employment in the wide and diverse IT & Multimedia sectors with a specific focus on games development. It provides students with key Software development, Audio, Video, Graphical & Management skills required in this field. SubjectS include:

AdMiSSion reQuireMentS:

AwArdS:
Upon successful completion of this 2 year programme, students will receive a HETAC level 6 Higher Certificate in Science in Computing & Multimedia.

In order to successfully enter this programme, candidates should have at least one of the following: • A minimum of 5 passes (Grade D3 or better) in the Leaving Certificate (including Mathematics & English / Irish) or • FETAC level 5 major Award in Information Technology or • International Equivalent to Leaving Certificate including Mathematics Non native English speakers should have evidence of an IELTS level 5.5 (or equivalent). For mature students (i.e. age 23 and older), applications will be individually assessed in order to determine suitability.
