Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
This year, the fourth annual UBC Thrive Week runs from November 5-9, 2012. Organized by and for students,
faculty and staff across the University, Thrive is a week of events encouraging the UBC community to invest in
mental well-being.

We need volunteers to help all the Thrive events run smoothly. If you want to help make UBC a healthier
community, being a Thrive volunteer is a great way to start. There are volunteer opportunities on the Vancouver-
Point Grey Campus and the Okanagan campus!

There are many different ways you can help from Oct 29-Nov 9, 2012.

Work parties: getting everything ready for Thrive Week 2012
Special Events volunteer: help with set up and logistics for events
Promotions volunteer: help spread the word about Thrive 2012!
Raffle volunteer: attend events and host the raffle table

You must attend one of these training orientations to be a volunteer:

Wednesday Oct 24 2012 : 2pm-4pm. Centre of Student Involvement: Boardroom

Thursday Oct 25 2012: 10am-12pm. Centre of Student Involvement: Boardroom
