                              Admission policy 2010/2011

The school follows the LEA standard admission policy. Children born between the 1st
September and 28th February start school full time in September. Children born
between the 1st March and 31st August start school part time in September and full time
in January.

Starting school for the first time is an important milestone in your child’s life. We hope
you will take the opportunity to get to know us better before your child starts school.
You can do this by:

      Making an appointment to visit the school. Just telephone and the Headteacher
       Ms Wayman will be happy to show you around and answer your questions
      Meeting other new parents, your child’s teacher and other people connected
       with the school at a parents evening in the summer term prior to your child
       starting
      Coming along to some of our other summer term events such as our summer
       carnival, which is usually held in July
      Bringing your child along to visits arranged in the summer term to introduce him
       / her to the school, their teacher, their classroom assistant and their classroom
