SURGERY SERVICES (full time)
Salary: up to £27,500 (depending on experience & qualifications)
The GP Centre comprises 3 PMS Practices providing primary care services to
15,500 patients. This is a new post developed to support the Practice
We are seeking an individual to proactively manage the routine administrative
activities of the Practice. The successful candidate will be multi-skilled and
have recent experience in all aspects of office administration, and will be
accustomed to working in a customer focused environment. Key job
o Premises and facilities management, H&S with a good understanding
of relevant legislative compliance standards.
o Procurement and the delivery of efficient and cost effective goods and
o Management support for H. R administration, recruitment and staff
o The development of policies processes and working practices.
Confident and well developed communication skills are essential as the role
necessitates resolving patient issues and progressing complaints; the
coordination of the Practice Patient Group activity; and the development of
information, communication materials and reports for publication. Excellent
computing skills with proficiency in the use of MS packages are prerequisite.
The successful candidate will enjoy a fast paced and challenging working
environment, and will be able to manage conflicting priorities. Previous
experience in the healthcare sector is not essential.
