    THE TIME HERE WITH A BOOK OF MEMORIES AND SIGNATURES OF YOUR TEACHERS AND FRIENDS.

 VOLLEYBALL MADNESS PARTICIPANTS: Please ensure that you pick up the daily schedule and expectations
  from the cafeteria before Friday. You will need a smaller drawstring type bag with you for the afternoon, all
  book bags will be locked in the Auxiliary gym for the afternoon. Bring money to buy your lunch. All food and
  drink items will be $1. You will NOT be able to use your school account. Get ready to have some
  FUNNNNNN!!!!
 The Reading Dragon is now up to 24 feet. Thank you Team Innovation and lunchtime sixth graders for your
  contributions.
 Team Spectrum is hosting a book drive for the Somerset County Community Development Homeless Shelters.
  This event was inspired by Matt Skibniewski, who along with his Avid class put the plan into action with the
  support of his team. Spectrum is asking for donations of all types of gently used children's books (pre-k to 8).
  The book drive will run from NOW until June 7th. Donations can be given to homeroom teacher or can be
  delivered directly to Mrs. Posner in room 255, 8th grade wing. Please send a representative from your
  homeroom to room 255, if you would like a lovely, decorated storage box for the collection process.
 Language Arts Making the Grade - Team Icon will meet after school in Room 237 on May 16th and May 23rd.
 Director’s chair will NOT meet Today but will have its next meeting on May 17th.
 Team Vega LAL Making the Grade will meet Today, Thurs., May 10th in room 202.
 Eighth-grade percussion ensemble will rehearse after school Today, Thurs, May 10.
 Model U.N. Club next meeting will Today, Thurs, May 10th.
 TO ALL 6TH GRADERS......all permission slips for the DARE Trip to the Trenton Thunder game are due no later
  than Monday...May 14th.
 REMINDER TO ALL 7th & 8th GRADE STUDENT ATHLETES: Payment & permission slips for the Trenton
  Thunder game are due to Ms. Whinna no later than Monday, May 14th. We cannot accept any payments or
  permission slips after May 14th.
 Library: All library books are due by May 15th. If you need your book past that date, you MUST come and see
  Mrs. Shapiro or Mrs. Liebross and make special arrangements. Overdue notices will be going out shortly.
 The Spring Band Concert will be held on Tuesday, May 15. All performers must be in the band or chorus room
  by 6:30 PM. The concert begins at 7 PM.
 Athletics Awards: Any 7th or 8th grade student athlete that is attending the Athletics Awards and Trenton
  Thunder trip must attend a mandatory meeting with Ms. Whinna in the axillary gym during period 7 on
  Monday, May 21st. Students must have handed in their permission slip and payment to Ms. Whinna for the
  trip in order to attend the meeting. Attendance will be taken.
 MTMS Chorus Concert will take place on Thurs, May 24 at 7 PM. The dress rehearsal will be on Mon, May 21.
  ALL CHORUS STUDENTS have received a concert notice. This should be taken home and shared with your
