Thistley Hough High School is seeking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and
committed Teacher of French who will contribute towards the further
improvement of its successful MFL department. In addition to French, the ability
to teach Italian and/or Spanish would be advantageous.

The ability to form good, professional relationships with children is essential as is
the ability to plan and deliver appealing and engaging lessons.

This is an exciting time to join our school: we were placed in to Special Measures
in the spring term yet inspectors, during a recent monitoring visit, made
encouraging comments regarding our journey so far. We are looking for an MFL
teacher to take on the challenge to move the school forward from this promising
base line position. As a school, we are working tirelessly to drive up standards
and expectations in order to secure excellence for every pupil.

We are due to become an academy after the Christmas break and are also
preparing to move into our brand new state-of-the-art building in April 2013.
