Thank you to all parent volunteers and staff for making our all school field trip day a success!

Thank you to our landlord, 4100 East Iliff, LLC, for building four storage sheds and to Humanity
for assembling the new storage sheds!

Welcome to our new families in French and German Preschools, new student Gabrielle in
Mandarin preK and new student Adelle in Spanish preK!

September 12th- Moon Cake Festival

Our annual after school Chinese Moon Cake Festival will be celebrated at 4:00 p.m. on Friday,
September 12th. Also called the Mid-Autumn Festival, it is a very important and traditional part
of Chinese culture. We would like to invite all CoIS students, parents and staff to join us in this
celebration.

September 15th 19th - Semana de las Independencias

We would like to invite all CoIS students, parents and staff to join our celebration of
Independence Days in the Spanish-speaking world throughout Central America and in Chile.
The students’ presentation will be held on Friday, September 19th at 2:30 p.m. Please let Ms.
Yoly know if you can help with this weeklong celebration.

September 24th- Picture Day

Our annual picture day will be Wednesday, September 24th. The students will be photographed
individually as well as with their class and the entire school. Please return your picture order
forms as soon as possible.

Donations

Please help us build shelving in the new storage sheds by donating any brackets, hooks,
hardware or shelves you can. Your donations are greatly appreciated.

Please return your e-book and Butter Braid order forms by September 18th and your T-shirt and
clothing order forms by September 19th with checks made payable to “CoIS-PTSO”. Thank you!
