Today we are encouraging all churches to stay open for an hour as we join together as a Diocese to pray that we
may Reach New Generations - (the fifth of our Five Themes for Growth). Some churches are doing a 24/7 prayer
time and others will adapt according to circumstances. Resource material will be available for downloading from
the Diocesan Web Site very soon.

                                       Almighty God and loving heavenly Father
                       Thank you for calling us by name and welcoming us into your family
                                       Help us to reach out to new generations
              so that children and young people may find their identity as your daughters and sons.
                            Bless all churches and individuals meeting for prayer today;
                                            Give us vision, faith and hope
                                    that your kingdom may come in this Diocese
                              and your will be done in and through our lives. Amen.

Almighty God, who gave such grace to your apostle Andrew that he readily obeyed the call of your Son Jesus
Christ, and brought his brother with him: Give us, who are called by your holy Word, grace to follow him without
delay, and to bring those near to us into his gracious presence; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen.
